Mobile Project Management for GLPI 11 has arrived, brought to you by TICGAL

Galician-based TICGAL launches Gapp 3: Mobile Service and Project Management for GLPI with total agility and control.

TICGAL has officially released Gapp 3, the latest evolution of its mobile solution for GLPI. This version expands its reach into Project Management, allowing team leads to track services and tasks from their smartphones with peak efficiency. Built to integrate natively within the GLPI ecosystem, this update is a leap forward in simplification, performance, and alignment with the core platform. Gapp 3 focuses on elevating the user experience (UX) and giving teams better visibility and control on the move.

As the most established mobile solution for GLPI, Gapp has evolved constantly since its 2019 launch. Today, it supports thousands of users worldwide, bridging the gap between high-level service management and daily field operations.

With Gapp 3, mobility becomes a cornerstone of tech efficiency. The move to native forms aligned with GLPI eliminates external dependencies, boosts performance, and ensures a seamless experience between desktop and mobile.

One of the standout features is the ability to manage projects directly from the phone. Thanks to a new Kanban view, users can visualise task status and progress in real-time.

“Until now, many project decisions required being physically in the office. With Gapp 3, a manager has their finger on the project’s pulse: they can monitor task progress or spot bottlenecks from their phone, wherever they are,” explains Óscar Beiro, CEO of TICGAL.

Gapp 3 also takes Waypoint geolocation to the next level by offering on-demand, real-time monitoring of technical activity. As a customizable feature, managers can decide when to activate this layer of visibility to optimise team coordination.

“Knowing exactly where an intervention stands in real-time is vital. It allows managers to handle the day-to-day with agility, even when they’re out of the office,” he adds.

On the security front, Gapp 3 introduces biometric authentication (fingerprint and facial recognition), ensuring access is both lightning-fast and secure. Additionally, this version expands service quality tracking through satisfaction surveys and improves access to information with direct links to the GLPI Knowledge Base.
