The News plugin has been designed to improve internal communication by displaying notifications to users when they launch the mobile app. If on a given day there is an important holiday or corporate announcement that the company wants to share with all its employees, Alerts makes sure that information is immediately and efficiently visible.
This system ensures that every employee is aware of relevant events, from local holidays to important company announcements, helping to keep the entire team informed and aligned. Setting up the plugin is simple and allows administrators to manage notifications centrally, ensuring that messages reach everyone at the right time.

News
If the News plugin is installed on the GLPI server, the application will display the configured alerts when appropriate.
A button is added to avoid the persistent pop-up. Once it is read check it, and it won’t show again.
- Mark as read button.
Confirmation pop-up.
If the user decides to mark an alert as read so that it does not appear in future occasions, they must confirm this in the previous pop-up.
