GLPI talk in Zagreb: Tailoring Infrastructure with King ICT & TICGAL

I had a fantastic time in Zagreb, joining our partners at King ICT for their IT Infrastructure Tailored to Your Needs event. It was an excellent opportunity to explore some key areas shaping IT departments today and connect with folks on the ground.

The event did a solid job showcasing how businesses can hone their infrastructure to fit their needs. King ICT introduced their new King Cloud service, which looks like an up-and-coming, flexible option on today’s local cloud trend. We also saw Rubrik, a robust backup tool focused on cybersecurity, which is crucial nowadays.

My part of the day was all about GLPI, the Open Source IT Service and Asset Management system. I shared the stage with Vedran Doležal, King ICT’s Head of Business Services, for my talk, GLPI by Teclib: The Core Tool Your IT Department Needs.

I focused on how organisations in Croatia can benefit from our Three Pillars, One Focus approach. It’s about combining Teclib’s expertise as the core GLPI developers, King ICT’s essential local presence and support, and TICGAL adding that crucial extra layer with development and integrations that make GLPI truly shine. It’s a powerful combination for streamlining IT operations.

I had a great time sharing our experiences and meeting the King ICT ITSM GLPI team, Domadoj and Vedran, whom I met at the first GLPI Day in Paris. Damir, Monica and the rest of the team made my visit very productive and enjoyable. I’ve even solved some issues, without charging a credit! 😉

Despite the weather not behaving accordingly, Zagreb was a beautiful city to experience. Even managed to squeeze in a visit to the statue of Dražen Petrović – an absolute idol of mine growing up. A real highlight outside of the event itself!

All in all, it was a productive and enjoyable trip. Thanks to King ICT for the invitation and the great event! I look forward to continuing our partnership in years to come.
